Kitchens: Starting Over

Shown here is a completely rebuilt kitchen. While the original footprint was retained, everything else was gutted, and we started from scratch.
The artist client spends much time in France and wanted to evoke the history and ambience of a French rural manse, using unfitted pieces in multiple colours that mimic old, treasured furniture. Note all the contemporary gadgets that make this quaint looking kitchen fully functional for the serious, or not so serious, chef.
Of course these cabinets are solid wood, the Hovel Studio standard, and so will last as long as the antiques that inspired them.
